Information we use
We store account and product information needed to provide the launch records and Tools Directory listings, including product name, website, description, logo, status, and the dates founders submit. Product profiles are public. When you buy a sponsor placement, we store the sponsor name, description, logo URL, website link, receipt email, account owner, Dodo customer and subscription identifiers, and placement dates. Active sponsor details are shown publicly; the receipt email and billing identifiers are not.
We use third-party services for database and account authentication. Our payment processor hosts checkout and processes payment and receipt details. We receive payment and checkout identifiers needed to deliver placements or process one-time Product launch fees (Pro at $4, Featured at $9) and any refunds; we do not receive or store full card numbers. The payment processor also hosts the Customer Portal used to manage Sponsor subscriptions.
We use an email delivery service to confirm Product launch schedules to the owner account email.
Paid leaderboard data
Leaderboard contributions do not require an account. Product website, crawled name, description, logo and aggregate ranking totals are public after payment confirmation. We keep checkout, payment and refund identifiers and amounts privately to deliver ranking credit and reconcile refunds. A random access token lets a visitor check their own checkout status; only its hash is stored. The payment processor collects receipt and billing information, and we do not publish buyer emails or payment details.
Analytics and cookies
Optional site analytics runs only if you choose “Allow analytics” in the consent banner. Your choice is saved in a browser cookie for up to 180 days. If you decline, optional analytics is not loaded. The account system may use cookies needed to keep you signed in. The site also counts visits to public product websites to show click totals.
Sharing and requests
We share information with service providers that support database and authentication, payments, transactional email, and background processing as needed to operate the site, complete purchases, and complete purchases. We do not publish sponsor receipt emails. Public links may lead to sites with their own privacy practices. For questions or requests about your information, contact [email protected].
